Floppy no more!

What do a stegosaurus and a floppy disk have in common? EXTINCTION!

Be ready. Starting Fall ’06, the SFCC Library's new computers will not have floppy drives. That’s right– floppy disks are passé, defunct, otiose, and like, really, really old news. Our new computers will accept USB devices ("thumb" or flash drives). You will also be able to use CDR and CDRW recordable disks.

If you have questions, please stop by the Reference Desk or call us @ 509.533.3834 -bro
